Price: 9/10 - Coming in at around $37.99 per child and $49.99 per adult for online pricing with additional early bird offers and email specials this Water Park is slightly less expensive than Universal's Volcano Bay, Disney's Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Island H20 Live! can be compared more to Sea World's Aquatica or Bush Garden's Adventure Island at a similar price range of $40 - $50 per person with online pricing and specials.

Park: 6/10 - Island H20 Live! just opened in the Summer of 2019 and is already heating up as one of the top spots to be around Davenport Florida! This Central Florida Water Park offers guest a new take on fun while keeping up with current theme park trends that keep visitors coming back year after year.

Rides & Attractions: 8/10 - There is no shortage of fun things to do at Island H20 Live! Water Park. You can choose to be a daredevil and ride the highest slides or float around the lazy river called Chat Creek. The rides were designed to be fun and satisfying experiences and not scary or intimidating like some roller coasters. Toddlers, Kids, Teens, Adults and Grandparents will find something here that makes memories to last a lifetime!

Staff: 5/10 - We spent around 7 hours at Island H20 Live! and had many interactions with staff and other guest through out the day. More than likely this is the first round of employees that were hired to fill the grand opening demand. Half of our experiences were pleasant and half or experiences were terrible. Some staff were loving their job and helping guest like us have an unforgettable time. Others were quick to snap at our confusion in finding the right line with the right tube for the right ride. Some were even bold enough to lie to our faces about points being able to carry over to the next visit knowing they would not because they lacked proper training.

Food: 7/10 - Everyone has to eat and we get especially hungry after burning thousands of calories fighting the sun, climbing hundreds of steps and screaming all the way down! We highly recommend you get the refillable souvenir cups for unlimited refills the whole day! Theme Park Food has always been challenging to find the best options that the whole family can enjoy. Island H20 Live! has one main dining option called Megabytes that serves burgers, fries and drinks. They also have smaller snack stations like Apps & Eats, Pretzel & Funnel Cakes, or Dippin Dots signature ice cream at the gate! Food quality and options are similar to other Orlando Water Parks.

Mobile App: 2/10 - The new trend in theme park fun is interactivity with wristbands! Island H20 Live! gives guest the ability to download a mobile app that syncs with the band to see special promotions, select custom playlist, earn points for food and souvenirs, track family or friends, earn badges and more. Unfortunately after wasting an hour of our day trying to ask multiple staff for assistance they were unable to match the profile on the app to the bands on our arms. The QR reader does not work and the verify email function is severely broken. Hopefully these issues are resolved to improve the guest experience.

Overall Experience: Visiting the theme park capital of the world brings high expectations for new travelers looking to experience the latest and greatest thrills while getting the most bang for their buck all with impeccable customer service on top. Margaritaville's Island H20 Live! Water Park is on the way to capturing the hearts of locals and tourist from around the world with rides, food and relaxation.

We spent around $200 for the day for a family of 4 and overall it was worth the money! Everyone had a great time despite a few issues with staff, loosing around 15k in hard earned points, the broken one soft serve ice cream machine on property that I promised my kids for being good, constantly fighting the bees away from entering the beverage freestyle machines and hot pavements when the sprinklers should have been running. Hopefully we can return to Island H20 Live! once these issues are resolved and update our rating and overall experience at this new water park near Davenport Florida.
